- for SGU certificates issued according to the normative SCC regulations (version 2011)
On September 17, 2021, the previous SCC 2011 regulations were adopted by VAZ e.V., the new program owner, and replaced with the new VAZ SCC 2021 program. The certification program for SGU personnel according to the SCC 2011 regulations was also adopted by VAZ e.V. and replaced with the new SGU Personnel VAZ 2021 program. The DAKKS (German Accreditation Body) has confirmed the accreditation capability of both new programs. Therefore, all SGU personnel certificates issued according to the SCC 2011 regulations with a 10-year validity period will expire on October 31, 2026, and will no longer be recognized!
Certificates issued after November 1, 2021 are valid for 5 years.
- for the withdrawal of certificates issued by Schipper Group GmbH
The Certification Department of Schipper Group GmbH has spun off its HSE Personnel division into a separate company and founded Schipper CertPers UG (limited liability), which will continue to manage the HSE Personnel division. Since November 9, 2022, Schipper CertPers UG has been accredited for the HSE Personnel division according to the 2021 VAZ (certification period). On November 22, 2022, the existing HSE Personnel customers were transferred from Schipper Group GmbH to Schipper CertPers UG.
This invalidated the certificates already issued. However, these are still registered with us. In order to continue the validity of the certificates already issued according to the HSE Personnel 2011 standard, it is essential to withdraw the old certificates and issue new ones. This applies to all HSE Personnel certificates issued by Schipper Group GmbH before October 31, 2022.
To re-issue the old certificates we need:
- the original certificates back.
- An authorization for data transfer from Schipper Group GmbH to Schipper CertPers UG from each certificate holder (see form below).
Important: We can only issue a new certificate upon presentation of the original certificate and written authorization. If the original certificate is no longer available, a written confirmation that the original certificate is no longer available or cannot be located is sufficient.
Validity of certificates:
All certificates issued before November 1, 2021, and valid for 10 years will expire on October 31, 2026. Newly issued certificates will then be valid until October 31, 2026.
Certificates issued by Schipper Group GmbH from November 1, 2021, will remain valid for 5 years after being reissued by Schipper CertPers UG.
